About our stud service & PRICING

At the heart of our stud service is Ros, a full European Doberman from an outstanding lineage of champion dogs known for their working ability, physique, and temperament. Ros comes from an impressive family tree, carrying traits that make him not only an exceptional Doberman but also a prime stud. Fully registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC) and with a DNA profile on file, Ros' pups are eligible for AKC registration, ensuring the continuation of a strong and reputable bloodline.

Ros is clear/negative for all DNA screenings and health testing, including Von Wilebrand Disease (vWD), Brucellosis, Narcolepsy, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM), Chondrodystrophy, Dilated Cardiomyopathy (DCM), and Deafness and Vestibular Dysfunction (DINGS1 and DINGS2).

Our stud service offers live cover, a natural and proven method to ensure successful breeding. We work closely with Bitch Owners to provide a smooth and professional experience, ensuring the health and well-being of both dogs throughout the process. With Ros' incredible pedigree, balanced temperament, and remarkable physical traits, we are committed to producing high-quality puppies that reflect the best of the breed.

When you choose our stud service, it includes boarding your female in heat with us at our home. As soon as you believe the timing is getting close, you can bring her to stay with us, allowing Ros and your female plenty of time to get comfortable. We provide multiple opportunities for them to be together outside each day, encouraging natural interaction. This is our preferred method, as it maximizes the chances of multiple live ties, ensuring the best possible timing for a successful breeding. By allowing more natural opportunities over an extended period, we increase the likelihood of pregnancy significantly.

In the rare event that a pregnancy does not occur, we will work closely with you to determine the next steps. While we provide the best possible conditions for successful breeding, we always recommend working with your own veterinarian to accurately track your female’s heat cycle and ensure optimal timing for breeding.

Ovulation typically occurs during the oestrus phase, which begins approximately 9 to 12 days after the heat cycle starts and lasts another 9 to 12 days. This is the critical window when breeding should take place. To give your female the best chance of pregnancy, we strongly encourage working with a vet experienced in ovulation timing. They can monitor your female’s cycle through vaginal cytology, progesterone, and possibly LH testing to predict the most accurate time to breed. Proper timing is crucial, and combining veterinary guidance with our preferred natural method ensures the highest chance of success.

In addition to live cover, we proudly offer fresh/chilled shipped semen for breeders who may not be able to travel to us. This option ensures that breeders across the country can access Ros’ exceptional bloodline and genetic traits without the need for transportation. The semen is collected and shipped under strict, temperature-controlled conditions to maintain its quality and viability. We work closely with our reproduction veterinarian to ensure the semen reaches you at the optimal time for successful breeding. If you choose this option, we recommend coordinating with your veterinarian for accurate timing of insemination to maximize the chances of pregnancy.

We require all females to be health tested and compatible with Ros. You must submit a current brucellosis test (within 7 days prior to drop-off), your female’s registration, permanent identification, genetic testing results, OFA certification, and a 4-generation pedigree. This ensures that both dogs are healthy and suitable for breeding, maximizing the chances of healthy puppies.
